Dubai Smart Circle yesterday announced the launch of the "100% paperless" stamp initiative, which aims to give government agencies that have implemented the "Dubai Paperless Transaction Strategy" at 100% sealing, a milestone indicating their complete transformation into entities with digital services and operations And paperless.

Smart Dubai said in a statement that it seeks, through the initiative, to appreciate the efforts of the authorities in the process of implementing the strategy, which succeeded in providing its services through the entire digital channels, supported by an internal digital environment, working to achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness . The "100% Paperless" stamp initiative classifies the efforts of government agencies, according to the efforts required to fully convert them to digital through the volume of paper consumption, across three types: large, medium, and small.

The stamp is presented to the authorities, which achieved 100% of their achievement of the "Dubai Paperless Transaction Strategy", and only within the category they belong to.

The results of the authorities will be announced on a semi-annual basis, and the seal will be imitated by the authorities that have reached the ratio accordingly.

The Director General of "Smart Dubai", Dr. Aisha Bint Butti bin Bishr, said that the "100% paperless" stamp initiative comes among the "Smart Dubai" initiatives and projects, in the path of government development emanating from the development paths of the Dubai Council, and also keeps pace with the pursuit of "Smart Dubai" Al-Houthi to accelerate the pace of the digital transformation of the Dubai government, to achieve the goals of the "Dubai Paperless Transaction Strategy", which is to convert all internal government transactions, and government transactions with dealers, into digital and paperless, by December 2021.

She added, “We aim through the stamp initiative (100% for paper), to appreciate the efforts of the leading bodies, which formed a milestone in achieving the goals of (Dubai Paperless Transaction Strategy), and worked to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in government work, by adopting more digital solutions to operations The services, which have enhanced the happiness of the customers, and have dedicated the leadership of the emirate to the field of integrated digital government.

Save a billion sheets

Dubai paperless strategy seeks to save more than one billion leaves, which are used in the Dubai government every year, saving 130,000 trees.

In addition, Dubai residents and visitors will save 40 hours per person per year, and more than 900 million dirhams would have been spent on paperwork.
