Major department store Takashimaya has decided to extend the opening hours of nine stores, including Shinjuku and Osaka stores in Tokyo, by two weeks until the end of this month.

With the spread of the new type of coronavirus, Takashimaya will operate 30 stores at Shinjuku, Yokohama, and Osaka out of nineteen stores, including Shinjuku, Yokohama, and Osaka, from 19 stores last month to 17 this month. Business hours are reduced from minutes to up to two hours.

Regarding this, the company has decided to extend business hours by two weeks to the end of this month, as the spread of the new coronavirus is continuing.
