The Dubai Entrepreneur Academy, the educational arm of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, one of Dubai’s economic institutions, has launched a “Shadow” initiative to develop entrepreneurial skills for entrepreneurs.

The Dubai Economy said in a statement yesterday that the new initiative aims to provide an ideal opportunity for entrepreneurs, specifically the youth, by providing them with opportunities to work in the industrial sector and ensuring the sustainability of their projects, and helping to develop a network of successful and experienced entrepreneurs who have proven Excellence in this area.

This network will serve as a reference authority that in turn contributes to developing the capabilities of new members, taking their hands to launch and develop their own projects and ensuring their success in an optimal way, within the framework of the Foundation's keenness to provide a valuable national service to support the economy and support young citizens, and activate their role in community service by benefiting From the support they received when launching their projects, and in a way that contributes to spreading culture among the youth, to set an example for others. New entrepreneurs will discover these real and successful experiences of other companies for a period of four to eight weeks.

The Executive Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, Abdul Baset Al Janahi, said that «the launch of the (Shadow) initiative aims to empower new entrepreneurs who launched their startups, and link them with distinguished cases of successful companies and entrepreneurs that provide them with models that can be emulated» .
