The report, which was revealed by the Dubai Economic Department yesterday, indicated that those licenses were distributed among several activities, in the forefront of which were professional activities by 72.4%, commercial activities by 26.1%, while tourism accounted for 1.1%, and finally industrial by 0.4%.

The report highlighted the distribution of these licenses according to the main areas in the Emirate of Dubai, where the lion's share of the Deira region was a total of 2573 licenses, then the Bur Dubai area with a total of 1883 licenses, and the Hatta region by three new commercial licenses.

Registration transactions

The report showed that the total number of completed registration and commercial licensing transactions during the past month amounted to 32 thousand and 740 transactions, while the total number of completed transactions through service outsourcing centers located in various regions in Dubai reached 24 thousand and 546 transactions, representing 75% of the total transactions (32.740) ), Which shows the vital role of these centers in providing distinguished services to the public, and reflects the efforts made by Dubai Economy to provide value-added services to customers in order to facilitate the conduct of business and commercial activities.

Renewal transactions

According to the report, the total renewal transactions reached 12 thousand and 568 transactions during February 2020, while the total transactions for renewing commercial licenses automatically through text messages reached 6224 transactions, which constitutes 50% of the total renewal transactions, which confirms the sustainability and competitiveness of businesses in the Emirate Dubai.

The process of reserving trade names reached 5770 procedures, while the number of initial approvals reached 4,810 procedures, while the total number of commercial licenses in the last month reached 1494 permits.

As for the distribution of new licenses (4459 licenses) according to the top 10 sub-regions, which constituted 63.5% of the total of all regions, it was as follows: Al Garhoud (19.6%), Burj Khalifa (10.7%), Oud Al Muteena Third (9.8%), the commercial center The first (7.8%), Umm Ramool (2.9%), Port Said (2.9%), Al-Murar (2.6%), Nayef (2.4%), Al-Khabisi (2.4%), and Al-Fahidi (4.2%).
