The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi, in a report on the tourism performance of Yas Island, confirmed that the total revenues of Yas Island hotels amounted to 401 million dirhams in 2019, a growth of 1.4%, and the average period of stay in the island hotels was 2.5 hotel nights with a growth of 2.8%, while The average room price was 380 dirhams, a growth of 2.9%, and the revenue value for each available room was 297 dirhams, a growth of 5.2% for the year 2018.

The report pointed out that the UAE residents topped the hotel guests on Yas Island by 23%, followed by visitors to India by 14%, then the British by 8%, while the Saudis came on top of visitors to Arab countries with 6% of the total visitors to Yas Island.

According to the department, the number of hotels in Yas Island is 7 hotels, which includes more than 2259 hotel rooms, and hotel rooms on the island vary between one 5-star hotel and three 4-star hotels and two star-to-3-star hotels, along with one hotel consisting of hotel Apartments.

The department explained that the island hotels received 98 thousand and 465 hotel guests during the fourth quarter of 2019, and the occupancy rate reached 79%, while revenue reached 134 million dirhams, and the average period of stay in the island hotels was 2.7 hotel nights, and the average room price was 517 dirhams, While revenue for each available room was 408 dirhams. Inmates from India topped the list in the fourth quarter with 18%, followed by the UAE residents with 17.8%, then Britain with 10.7%, and Saudi Arabia came on top of the Arab markets with 3%.
