According to the website of the National Development and Reform Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and other departments recently issued a notice on announcing the minimum purchase price of rice in 2020. The notice clearly states that in 2020, the state will continue to implement the minimum purchase price policy in the main rice-producing areas. Taking into account factors such as grain production costs, market supply and demand, domestic and foreign market prices, and industrial development, the minimum purchase prices for early indica rice (third-class, the same below), middle-late indica rice, and japonica rice produced in 2020 were approved by the State Council, each at 50 kg. 121 yuan, 127 yuan and 130 yuan.

The notice pointed out that localities should guide farmers to plant reasonably, strengthen field management, and promote stable rice yield and quality.
