Phased reduction of electricity costs
Enterprises in our province are expected to save 1.6 billion yuan
Hubei Daily (Reporter Peng Yiwei and Correspondent Zou Ping) In order to alleviate business pressure and help enterprises resume work and resume production, the State Grid Corporation issued a phased policy to reduce electricity costs on February 22, supporting large industries and Industrial and commercial enterprises. State Grid Hubei Electric Power estimates that this policy will benefit about 1.56 million enterprises in our province and reduce electricity bills by more than 1.6 billion yuan.
The eight measures issued by the State Grid include: Reduction and exemption of 5% of the electricity bills of non-high energy-consuming large industrial enterprises; Reduction and exemption of 5% of the electricity bills of non-high-energy consumption general industrial and commercial enterprises; Extension of the implementation period of the "Supportive Two-Party Electricity Price Policy"; All electricity reduction and exemption involved in the policy of reducing electricity costs are not transmitted to upstream companies such as power generation companies, and are not allocated to government funds collected on behalf of them.
The implementation of this policy is from February 1 to June 30. For power customers benefiting from the policy, adopt temporary meter reading measures, record the electricity data on February 1 and June 30, and calculate the electricity charges on a household-by-house basis to ensure that the policy is in place; Users who have paid electricity bills in the month will be reduced from household to household when collecting electricity bills in March to ensure that customers enjoy the full reduction of electricity bills.
