She added that «the department calls upon the tenants to inquire about any circumstances related to the organization of rental operations, and also allows owners and investors to make appropriate decisions related to their real estate and investments, with the service provided by the institution with the ability to request access to specific real estate data and statistics, to benefit from them in making any decisions Related to their business. ”

The Rental Dispute Resolution Center, the judicial arm of the Dubai Land Department, had previously confirmed that the tenant must hand over the leased property key to the landlord or his representative, upon the expiry of the lease contract, stressing the need to absolve him of his responsibility for obtaining proof of delivery to the housing unit.

The Center pointed out that failure to hand over the key to the owner or his representative, the tenant enters into the problem of automatically renewing the contract.

The Center asked the tenants to abide by the Tenancy Law and the related regulatory and legislative regulations to avoid a dispute with the leasing party, which may lead to accountability and the imposition of penalties and violations.
