The director of the Gulf Food Exhibition "Gulfood" at the Dubai World Trade Center, Mark Naber, said that the current session of the exhibition is witnessing the participation of 11 new countries, pointing out that the number of participating national pavilions reaches 140 national pavilions.

He referred to other countries participating across individual platforms including: Guatemala, Maldives, Iraq, Luxembourg, Nepal, Norway, Papua New Guinea, and Tanzania.

Napier revealed that the exhibition was able in its current session to attract more than 1400 new international companies in different food sectors, and participate for the first time in the exhibition activities, expected that "Gulfood 2020" will attract more than 95 thousand commercial visitors from 198 countries.
