Expo 2020 Dubai opened the first official retail store selling official licensed products bearing the brand of the international event, which includes a variety of souvenirs, such as a hand bracelet and camel milk soap, in addition to clothes made from recycled plastic in the UAE.
The exhibition said in a statement issued today, that during the coming months, visitors of the store will be able to meet the characters of "Expo 2020 Dubai" at the store site in the global village in Dubai.
He added that it is also expected to hold a number of events, which will add more dazzle to the most wonderful event in the world, with less than nine months left since its launch on October 20.
Within the framework of the "Expo 2020 Dubai" licensing and retail program, the store will display the official products produced by a number of innovative local and international companies with a license from "Expo 2020 Dubai".
Sanjeev Kosla, CEO of commercial affairs at Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “We separated a few months from the launch of (Expo 2020 Dubai) and opened its doors to visitors.” He pointed out that “through a number of licensed goods that bear the trademark of the Expo 2020 Dubai), which was produced by local artists and small and medium-sized companies, visitors to our first official store will get a glimpse into what they can expect from the most amazing event in the world. ”
He explained that «the list of commodities offered includes clothes manufactured in sustainable styles, dolls (Expo) for children, as well as personal care products manufactured using camel milk, and wristbands in different colors that symbolize the three themes (Expo 2020 Dubai): opportunities, mobility and sustainability.
“There are also souvenir collectors, such as gold and silver commemorative coins, from the largest event ever held in the Arab world,” Kosla added.
