From FamilyMart June to "time reduction business" February 5 at 6:31

FamilyMart, a major convenience store, has published guidelines for shorter working hours to shorten business hours. From 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, we will be able to set the closing and opening times every 30 minutes.

According to the guidelines, franchise merchants can consult with the headquarters in advance and, at the merchant's discretion, be able to "do not open 24 hours".

There are two ways to reduce hours of operation, open daily hours or only on Sundays, so that you can set closing and opening times every 30 minutes between 11 pm and 7 am .

Prior to this, in a time-saving business experiment conducted by approximately 600 stores, profits decreased by 60%, while profits increased by 40%.

The company has analyzed that in stores where profits have increased, it was possible to reduce labor costs more than by declining sales by performing tasks such as midnight cleaning during the daytime.

The company has begun to explain the results of these experiments and the contents of the guidelines to franchisees, and will be able to start shorter working hours sequentially from June.
