According to the draft five-year agreement of the two companies, the cost of pumping Russian gas to Europe through the Ukrainian gas transportation system will be $ 31.72 per 1 thousand cubic meters. The tariff is calculated at a rate of $ 2.66 per 1 thousand cubic meters per 100 km and based on the length of the GTS 1192.48 km.
According to the publication, in case of transit of 225 billion cubic meters in five years, Naftogaz will be able to earn about $ 7.13 billion.
If Gazprom decides to increase the volume of gas supplies, increasing tariff coefficients will be applied. In this case, the maximum rate increase will be up to 45%.
Earlier in the US, they announced support for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
As noted in Kiev, the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine since the beginning of 2020 has reached 2 billion cubic meters.
The company "Operator GTS of Ukraine" noted the positive effect of the contract with Russia on gas transit.
