First billion cubic meters of gas delivered via Turkish Stream

Gazprom supplied the first billion cubic meters of gas via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline, ”RIA Novosti reports.

As noted, about 54% of this volume was delivered to the Turkish gas market, 46% - to the Turkish-Bulgarian border.

In early January, Russian and Turkish Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially launched the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.

As the Serbian leader Alexander Vučić noted, the expected annual income of the country from participating in the project will be $ 185 million.
