Minister of Energy and Industry Suhail Al Mazroui said, "The UAE is following with interest the efforts of the Chinese government to contain the spread of the Corona virus," stressing "full confidence in the ability of friendly China and the international community to control and eliminate it completely."
Al Mazrouei said in press statements, commenting on the decline in prices in the oil markets, "It is logical that we do not exaggerate any possibilities of a decrease in demand because of what is happening in China. And the impact on global markets is driven by psychological factors adopted by some traders in the market."
