Several thousand people marched this Tuesday across France at the call of the CGT, FO, Solidaires and the FSU, on the 41st day of mobilization against the plan to reform pensions by points.

Three days after the compromise offer from Prime Minister Édouard Philippe to withdraw the pivotal age of the project under conditions, the demonstrators marched this Tuesday in Paris behind a banner with their head: " Pension by points: all losers!" Retirement at 60, all winners! Macron, withdraw your plan ”.

We want to go to the end, until withdrawal . We are still strongly on strike. At the SNCF, there is still a beautiful bazaar, with many trains canceled. The RATP friends are holding up, and there are other sectors that go on strike, there are GAs every day, "explained Mathieu Bolle-Reddat, RER C driver and general secretary of the CGT- Railway workers at Versailles.

" We are especially waiting for this Thursday when the demonstration will be much more powerful and will support even more the friends who are in the process of engaging in blocking movements, particularly in the refineries, " explained Gabriel Gaudy, regional secretary of FO Île-de-France.

Other processions marched elsewhere in France, gathering few but motivated demonstrators. According to the police, there were 1,700 in Lyon, 1,200 in Tours or 700 in Strasbourg. In Bordeaux, they demanded an amplification of the movement and a greater mobilization of employees in the private sector.

Find alternative solutions to balance the diet

The government took a step this weekend towards the reformist unions, CFDT and Unsa, which called for the withdrawal of the establishment of a short-term pivotal age of the pension reform project. However, it combined it with the obligation for the social partners to find alternative solutions to balance the regime financially.

The future funding conference will have to make its proposals by the end of April. The compromise was rejected entirely by the leader of the CGT Philippe Martinez. He said however this Tuesday " open to a discussion on the balance of the pension system ", but not within the constrained framework proposed by Édouard Philippe .
