Can the call from the CGT Banque de France syndicate to block the two largest fiduciary centers in the country lead to an interruption in the distribution of banknotes? "No risk," said Erick Lacourrège, director general of economic services and the Banque de France network, on Monday.

He recalls that the Banque de France has 37 fiduciary centers in total on the territory. If these are the two largest centers that are targeted by a blockage, including a representative of 25% of tickets circulating in the country alone, the director ensures that arrangements have been made "to have enough stock" to supply distributors for several days, "even several weeks".

To have a real shortage, the blockage would have to last "whole months, which is totally illusory". A continuity plan is already installed throughout the territory with several crisis scenarios, and Erick Lacourrège specifies "that no credible hypothesis of disruption of the capacity to buy" exists.
