Since this deadly assault by the United States against General Soleimani, near Baghdad airport, in Iraq, relations have been tighter every day between Washington and Tehran. Every moment carries its share of respective threats.

With our correspondent in Tehran, Siavosh Ghazi

A human tide gathered in the center of the city of Kerman, the birthplace of General Soleimani, this Tuesday for the burial ceremony. Dozens of people even died in a stampede .

During this last eventful tribute, the head of the Guardians of the Revolution, Hossein Salami, delivered a particularly warlike address to the United States. " I say my last word first: we will take revenge in a harsh, firm, determined manner, " said General Salami.

He even went further, saying that if the United States reacted to the Iranian response, Tehran would ignite and bloody the place that the Americans " love ", undoubtedly an allusion to the State of Israel .

For his part, the Iranian chief of diplomacy, Mohammad Javad Zarif, said that the United States would receive a firm response, when the time came, so that they would feel the maximum pain.

In response to the targeted assassination of General Soleimani, the Iranian parliament passed a law that calls all Pentagon commanders and officials "terrorists". The deputies also decided to allocate 200 million euros to the al-Quds force of the Revolutionary Guards, led by General Soleimani, to strengthen its capacities.

At the diplomatic level, tensions are also extremely high. Washington refused to grant a visa to the Iranian foreign minister, who was to travel to New York on Wednesday for a meeting of the United Nations Security Council.

Denying me a visa in violation of 1947 UNHQ Agreement pales in comparison to:

-Pompeo's threat to starve Iranians (crime against humanity)
Trump's bluster about cultural heritage (war crime)
- # EconomicTerrorism
-Cowardly assassination

But what are they really afraid of? Truth?

Iraq officially asked the UN on Monday to condemn the raid last Thursday. A meeting will take place next Tuesday in Brussels , between the French, German, Italian and British foreign ministers, to discuss the Iranian issue as well as the situation in Libya.
