Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is ranked first in terms of adherence to flight times in the Middle East and one of the most punctual airlines in the world, according to the OAG Aviation Data Analysis Group.

Etihad Airways is the only airline in the Middle East to be on the list of most committed travel dates for 2019 and ranked 17th among traditional and low-cost airlines. OAG Etihad also ranked 13th on the list of top 20 major airlines, a list that includes only the largest airlines for scheduled flights with more than 30,000 flights operated annually.

The group determines the "punctuality" scale for a period of 15 minutes to take off and land flights from the scheduled date, and it is an approved measure in the aviation sector, taking into account multiple factors that can influence operational operations.

On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of Etihad’s Operations, Mohamed Abdullah Al-Balouki, said: “The key element in the accuracy of Etihad’s appointments is the human component and employees working on the safety and security of the company’s operations.

He continued, "This choice reflects our commitment to providing the highest level of services, and punctuality is an important part of these services. With the dedication of the team and investment in new technologies, we will continue to enhance efficiency and quality."
