Medvedev called the compromise gas contract of Russia and Ukraine

“The gas contract for the next five years between Russia and Ukraine is a compromise that needed to be found,” Medvedev wrote on Facebook.

Earlier, the Vice President of the European Commission Marosh Shefchovich welcomed the conclusion of a contract for the transit of Russian gas to the EU through Ukraine.

Naftogaz Ukrainy reported that gas transit agreements with Russia remove numerous risks, in particular for the financial system of Ukraine.
