Today, the Emirates Development Bank signed an agreement with Potential Company to launch an electronic platform to provide free training courses for entrepreneurs, owners of companies and startups, in order to facilitate and develop their business and achieve their ambitions.

The signing of the agreement comes within the framework of the Emirates Development Bank’s efforts to support entrepreneurs in the UAE, and to enhance the role of companies and startups.

The platform provides visitors to the bank's website, in addition to entrepreneurs and owners of innovative ideas, the opportunity to benefit from a variety of free training courses and includes "educational videos and assistance services" to enable business leaders and owners of companies and emerging projects to take advantage of the content of training courses to help develop their businesses and support their projects.

The training courses include various topics such as developing a strategy and business plan, establishing companies, innovative solutions to develop products, improving sales, marketing and accounting, in addition to practical advice to meet the business challenges presented through educational videos, which are specially designed according to the market requirements in the Emirates.

Emirates Development Bank Chief Executive Faisal Al Bastaki said: The Emirates Development Bank seeks to support and encourage entrepreneurship, and to highlight the important role that entrepreneurs play in the advancement of the national economy. The platform aims to encourage all those who wish to engage in the business sector and develop their business, and the bank also provides Banking financing services needed to support small and medium-sized companies in accordance with the internal policies of the bank.

The platform is scheduled to be launched in January 2020.
