Manufacturers with unique technologies and know-how in the field of cosmetics have been attracting attention as they are able to create new needs through the entry of different industries due to the continuous movement to develop beauty home appliances jointly with electrical manufacturers.

In collaboration with Panasonic, Kao has developed a small beauty device that directly sprays the skin with ultra-thin fibers processed from the ingredients of lotion. The sprayed fibers form a film that has the effect of maintaining adequate moisture for a long time, and is intended for use in skin care while sleeping.

Kose has developed a “nail printer” in collaboration with Casio Computer, which has inkjet printer technology. When you put your finger in the printer, the shape of the nail is read by image recognition technology and the image of the design you have selected in advance is automatically painted.
It can be applied in about 15 seconds per finger and aims to capture the needs of consumers who want to enjoy nail art even if they are busy with work or housework.

The cosmetics market is highly competitive by manufacturers, making it difficult to differentiate, and companies are making continuous moves to enter beauty home appliances using the technology and know-how cultivated so far.

“We would like to provide products and services that can solve the inconvenience of many people at once by utilizing digital technology and working with electrical appliance manufacturers,” said Kose's Director General of Corporate Planning.
