Dnata has announced further expansion of the global Marhaba network, which provides a welcome and assistance service for airport travelers.

The company said in a statement yesterday, that it will update one of the "Marhaba" showrooms in Dubai, and will open an additional hall in Geneva, Switzerland, expecting the completion of the first project during the next summer, and the opening of the hall in Switzerland at the end of 2020.

And Marhaba revealed its intention to update the design and brand in the dnata halls at Geneva, Zurich, Switzerland and Singapore airports, so that all of its facilities will operate under the same brand during the next two years.

“We are pleased to expand our global presence and develop our services by opening, expanding and redesigning a number of our terminals at the most busy airports,” said Shehab Al-Awadi, President of Marhaba.

Today, he added, the travel experience is not only limited to the air, but rather begins with the arrival of the terminal, who expect high-quality services to enhance their experience at airports.

Al-Awadi pointed out that «Marhaba» provides a consistent experience in its halls, and provides the same level of service to travelers, both for business and tourism, and all its facilities provide comfortable seating areas, a very fast wireless internet service, and a dining experience that meets all requirements.

He stressed that "Marhaba" is constantly developing its services and products to improve the customer experience, pointing out that Marhaba launched a new website that facilitates browsing on all devices, including tablets and smart phones, and allows customers to choose their favorite products, and design their reservations quickly, while seeking « Welcome »to add more functionality to the site, including the ability to customize reservations and get suggestions.

It is noteworthy that Marhaba was established in the Emirates to provide reception and assistance services for all travelers, to and from Dubai International Airport.

Marhaba started its global expansion in 2017, when it opened new airport lounges in Karachi (Pakistan) and Melbourne (Australia). Subsequently, a new facility opened in Singapore, and the airport terminals in Dubai gradually expanded. In addition to opening new lounges and updating the brand to other lounges, Marhaba, with a team of 800 employees, will operate 13 airport lounges for departures in five countries, to receive 2.6 million passengers annually.
