FRANCE MOVES

Disturbance on metro and RER lines, trains lost, roads saturated ... The transport strike, started Thursday against the pension reform led by the government, obviously has consequences on the daily lives of millions of French. And on things as simple as going to work, picking up your child at the nursery or school and having it guarded, honoring a medical appointment, etc. On the plateau of France moves , Monday, three entrepreneurs came to present their innovative solutions to avoid the complications associated with this transport strike.

Popmoms, for a childcare

The company Popmoms, created by Carmen Kervella to allow parents "to exchange mutual services", has seen its attendance increase "by 20% to 30%" since the beginning of the social movement on Thursday. "It's a solution for parents who can pool their needs, such as transportation to school," says the designer.

It also advances "the economic benefits of its platform" when parents go out at night, for example, with an average price of a babysitter between 8 and 10 euros. "It's really handy to say that we will babysit on Thursday night and that it will be a revenge next week."

Emergencies doctors, for a medical consultation

The application Urgences Doctors also knows a rise in visits of the order of 20% since the start of the transport strike. Its principle differs from that of SOS Doctors. "Anyone can have access to a doctor through their phone, the person goes on the app and chooses between a doctor at home and a teleconsultation. It has an answer in three minutes if the doctor can come in one hour, "says Mike Meimoun, founder, who insists on the possibility of having a real" visibility on the arrival of the doctor ". A hundred doctors are now registered on the platform, throughout the Ile-de-France, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lyon or Lille.

Tixeo, for secure telecommuting

Since Thursday, many companies are using telework for employees who can not move, or very difficult. Under which conditions to practice it? The secure solution Tixeo offers solutions to "reproduce social interactions" even at home. "We're pushing video collaboration to its extreme," says co-founder Renaud Ghia. One can for example "see his collaborators in the form of video bubbles, without sound, and on which we can click to interact", reducing de facto loneliness, disadvantage often reproached to telecommuting.

Today, 1.8 million employees are concerned by telework, but no less than 60% would like to test this practice. "This allows productivity gains, but also to regain time to do for the social link," says Renaud Ghia. According to him, "widespread teleworking could revolutionize society and empty entire neighborhoods like La Défense".
