To visit India, the key to negotiations for RCEP cooperation
RCEP = Japan's and China's 16 countries are negotiating over East Asia Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, Mr. Ulsan, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry visited India, which holds the key to negotiations, from 10th of this month and cooperated for signing next year I was asked to.

At a press conference after the cabinet meeting on the 6th, Mr. Hatakeyama revealed that he would visit New Delhi, the capital of India, from 10th to 11th of this month and meet with Indian government ministers in charge of negotiations.
On top of that, Mr. Hatakeyama said, “I would like to discuss with India in order to realize the signature in 2020,” and stressed the idea of aiming for a signature in next year in 16 countries including India.
During this visit, Mr. Hatakeyama will proceed with discussions with relevant ministers regarding strengthening industrial competitiveness in India and cooperation in the energy field.
