The World Summit for Economic Empowerment of Women unveiled its second session activities program, which begins on December 10 and 11, with the participation of 50 local and international speakers, representing civil society organizations, government agencies, and a number of experts concerned with women's empowerment.

The summit, organized under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, President of the Nama Foundation for the Advancement of Women, under the slogan "Engines of Change", includes 18 main sessions and 29 workshops.

The first day of the summit begins its activities with a session showing the achievements of the institutions that pledged to implement some of the principles of the United Nations for the empowerment of women during the first session of the summit, which was organized in 2017. Emirati officials in the second session, titled "Shaping the Future of Economies", reviews the results of the policies that targeted Facilitate the participation of women in shaping the economy, and present the achievements of the UAE government in this field.

The third session, entitled "The Best Way to Fund", addresses the challenges women entrepreneurs face in obtaining financing to launch or develop their own businesses.

Speakers in the fourth session, titled "Innovative Mechanisms to Enter Unconventional Sectors", will share their experiences and experiences in facing the challenges of women's partnership in the science, technology, engineering, mathematics and energy sectors, and they will present new ways to facilitate the entry of the future generation of women to these sectors, while the fifth session will address, Entitled "One World .. One Community", the main role of women in developing society.

The sixth session, entitled "Reaching a more just world using technology", presents a project for developing urban neighborhoods using 3D printing technology, while female entrepreneurs during the seventh session titled "The Right of Women to Determine the Future of Their Business" tell inspirational stories about their success in The process of change.

The last main session during the activities of the first day of the summit presents experiences, appropriate practices and obligations within the public and private sectors aimed at enhancing the share of companies owned by businesswomen from the procurement and supply operations.

As for the activities of the second day, it begins with a session entitled "Engines for Change ... Providing a Supportive Environment for Women in the Labor Market."

The activities of the second day include an inspiring dialogue for the global consulting firm Impact Genki, while the second session discusses the unfair treatment faced by women and girls, which hinders their progress and prevents them from achieving their aspirations.

The third session discusses the impact of the digital economy on opportunities and the future of work, and the practical measures that women can take to increase their opportunities and skills to be equipped to work in a future dependent on a digital economy, while the fourth session provides views from young people and their impact on the local and international communities.

The sixth session revolves around the main role of women in achieving environmental sustainability and social development, while the seventh session reviews the principles of women's empowerment and their role in bringing about a fundamental change in the work environment and society.

The summit program includes a special session entitled "An opportunity for development", organized by the Nama Foundation for the Advancement of Women, with the participation of a group of experts, specialists and investors.
