“During the meeting, the heads of the energy departments of Russia and Saudi Arabia discussed the interaction of countries through OPEC +, the measures taken to stabilize the world oil market, as well as the current directions for the mutual development of economic ties between Russia and Saudi Arabia,” the press service of the Russian ministry said.
During the meeting, Novak noted an increase in trade between the countries by 53.8% to $ 1.2 billion compared with the same period last year.
