The charges will only be confirmed after a re-hearing of the accused persons. But the charges retained underline the severity of the alleged facts. this case is considered to be potentially the biggest financial scandal in the history of the country.

Between 2012 and 2016, the Israeli Navy signed contracts with the German group ThyssenKrupp for the purchase of submarines and boats for a total amount of approximately $ 2 billion. The manufacturer's representative in Israel is accused of bribing several security officials. He should be indicted for corruption. The charge should also be held against the former navy chief, a former adviser to Benyamin Netanyahu and a former minister.

The former lawyer and cousin of the prime minister, David Shimron, was suspected of having mediated the amount of bribes while using his proximity to Benyamin Netanyahu to obtain the signing of these contracts. Finally, in his case, the charges of corruption were not retained, but the prosecutor intends to prosecute him for money laundering.
