According to him, only negotiations are underway to extend the transit of gas from Russia to the European Union, about which "everyone knows."

Goncharuk noted that in the framework of these negotiations "there are many questions, conditions, initiatives, ideas that are voiced by different participants."

“There are no separate negotiations on the purchase of gas from the Russian Federation,” he said.

Earlier, a spokesman for the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russia had sent Kiev proposals to conclude an agreement between Gazprom and Naftogaz, but there was little time.

The head of Gazprom, Alexei Miller, also said that Ukraine needs to resolve issues with the new GTS operator in order to continue the transit of Russian gas.
