Dubai Economy plans to open its first outsourcing center outside the UAE, in Cochin, India, to serve international investors.

Trade mission

Omar Al Muhairi, Director of Development and Follow-up Department of the Commercial Registration and Licensing Department at the Dubai Economy, said that Dubai Economy plans to organize a trade mission including representatives and outsourcing centers in the emirate to India in the coming period in order to help Indian investors enter the local market in Dubai. By explaining the procedures and communicating with investors to discuss the challenges that may face them, as well as working to provide the best ways and practices that promote foreign direct investment to Dubai and the UAE.

Al-Muhairi told Emirates Today that during the mission's visit, Dubai's first outsourcing center will be opened outside the UAE to serve international investors in Cochin, Kerala.

Added Value

Al Mehairi said the center will focus on providing value-added services to Indian investors seeking to expand their business beyond their borders and establish businesses in the UAE.

He pointed out that Indian investors will be able to obtain documented information about the commercial activities in Dubai, and how to start the business and sectors in which they can invest, pointing out that the center will provide the services of local outsourcing centers, including the granting of trade name and obtaining initial approvals of licenses, in addition to issuing licenses Business, check-in, residency, and other government services provided by Dubai outsourcing centers.

Licensing and Registration

Al Mehairi said that the center will also provide all licensing and commercial registration services to Indian companies wishing to expand in Dubai, as it works to provide all the services needed by the investor during, before and after the commercial expansion in Dubai.

He pointed out that the main objective of this step is to promote the work to attract Indian investments in all economic sectors, and give Indian investors the opportunity to obtain documented information about investment in Dubai in their country, which helps them to make the decision without leaving his country.

Market study

Omar Al Muhairi, Director of Development and Follow-up in the Commercial Registration and Licensing Department of Dubai Economy, said that the trade mission to India and the establishment of outsourcing centers outside the UAE in Kerala, India, are a step towards studying the markets most relevant to the local market in Dubai.

He added that India is Dubai's number one trading partner.

Al-Muhairi said that the establishment of centers in other countries and cities will be discussed to enhance the capabilities of foreign investors to enter the local market.
