In a press statement on the sidelines of the First Dealers Forum in Dubai, Muwaini said that the specifications granted 60 international bodies to adopt halal certificates in addition to licensing the use of the national halal mark for more than 150 companies producing more than 10,000 products in 40 countries.

He added that the Authority issued 10 million RFD cards to track radio waves of tires in the period from 2016 to November, pointing out that the application of mandatory specifications for tires contributed to reduce the mortality rate of vehicle accidents in the country due to tires by about 34% during Last five years.
He pointed out that 1.6 million energy and water efficiency cards and three million RFID tires were issued during the past year, in addition to more than 100 certificates of type approval and conformity to measuring instruments.

He pointed out that the number of UAE optional and mandatory standards issued by the Authority reached 23 thousand specifications, serving 12 key sectors, including electricity, chemical industries, vehicles, information technology, construction and construction, and oil and gas, while the Authority issued 62 technical regulations and control systems, including Many products and measuring instruments.
