The UAE Economic Forum, organized by Dubai Economy, will be held on December 11 and 12 and will be the fruit of cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and all economic circles in the UAE.

According to a statement issued yesterday, the forum is expected to receive great attention at the local and international levels, through its new form as a result of the merger of the Emirates Forum for Economic Prospects and the Emirates Forum for Economic Planning, in one event that will build on their success on For six years, the Forum will be one of the most prominent annual local economic events to highlight current strategic plans and contribute to shaping the future of economic planning in the short and medium term of the UAE.

The Minister of Economy, Engineer Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, said: `` The UAE Economic Forum 2019, confirms the continuation of the UAE economy's positive development path, pursuant to the guidance of the wise leadership, and in line with the UAE Vision 2021. ''

He added: “We are confident that efforts will be made by all economic sectors in the UAE to achieve sustainable development, through the introduction of strategic plans and quality initiatives that achieve economic sustainability and to further develop development projects.”

“The Forum plays a pivotal role in accelerating the implementation of the goals of the National Agenda to reach the UAE among the most innovative countries in the world by 2021,” said Sami Al Qamzi, Director General of Dubai Economy.

He added that «the forum is one of the important events that discuss all economic opportunities and aspirations, in the presence of the seven economic circles in the State and the Ministry of Economy, in addition to offering workshops that play a key role in the transfer of knowledge».

In its first edition, the Emirates Economic Forum provides an effective platform for public-private partnerships and decision-makers in the UAE's economic planning to discuss the most important issues related to the state and society, and review the strategic and quality initiatives that have been recently implemented and developed.
