Media: Banks can lower rates on loans with biometrics

Russian banks can introduce remote identification into loyalty programs and lower rates on loans issued using biometrics.

Izvestia writes about this, referring to representatives of the banks themselves.

It is noted that such an opportunity appeared after the Central Bank lowered the requirements for obligatory reserves for loans to customers who submitted molds to the Unified Biometric System (EBS).

According to the publication, Promsvyazbank, Otkrytie, Absolute, Ak Bars and Home Credit Bank are considering lowering rates for customers with biometrics.

Earlier it was reported that Sberbank is reducing mortgage rates on applications filed since November 22.
