The Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hamad Buamim, said that the African World Business Forum confirms Dubai's role as a regional and global station in enabling trade and investment ties and maintaining its commercial status as a vital center for trade exchange and constructive cultural communication between Africa and the world.

Buamim told Emirates Today on the occasion of the launch of the Global Forum in Dubai today that over the past sessions of the Forum, Dubai has proven to be a global destination and a reliable center for entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of major economic organizations in the UAE, Africa and the world.

With a vision of leadership and a long-term, clear business strategy, Dubai has been able to draw its own distinctive approach that has enabled it to be a landmark in doing business and trade in the region.

He also stressed that Dubai is playing a pivotal role in redefining the global trade and investment sectors, through its active contribution to finding practical solutions to the challenges of the comprehensive development process in Dubai and the continent, based on expanding the base of productive and constructive trade and investment partnerships.

The forum, organized by the Dubai Chamber, is attended by three heads of state - Liberian President George Weah, Seychelles President Danny Furi, Zimbabwe's President Emerson Mnangagwa, more than 20 African ministers and several top business leaders. In both the state and the African continent.
