The Ministry of Economy announced yesterday the launch of a recall campaign involving 170 Mercedes-Benz E-Class station wagon, model 213, from 2017 to 2019 in cooperation with Gargash Enterprises, Emirates Motor Company, and Mercedes-Benz dealers in the UAE.
In a report released yesterday, the ministry confirmed that the recall was due to the fact that the company «Daimler AG», the manufacturer of «Mercedes-Benz» made it clear that the brake on the tailgate may not be installed according to specifications.
She pointed out that this report comes in conjunction with the start of «Gargash Enterprises», the company «Emirates Motor», and the Department of Competition and Consumer Protection in the Ministry, to inform customers to start a campaign for defective cars that were imported to the UAE of these models, provided that the repair process is free and exempt Repairs of any fees.
