Saury catch is also the lowest ever on November 9 at 11:32

Saury landings for this season have so far been less than half of the same time as the record-disappearing man, and the catch during the season could be the lowest ever .

According to the Fisheries Information Service Center, the catch of saury in this season, which began in earnest in August, was 19,790 tons by the end of last month.

This is more than 20% of the same period last year, and only 40% compared to the same period as the man who was the first unrecorded fisherman in half a century.

Coming here, a herd of saury has been found along the coast, and it seems that the peak of fishing has been reached about half a month to one month later than normal.

Under these circumstances, the wholesale price of saury from the 25th to 31st of last month in Tokyo and Toyosu Market fell to an average of around 500 yen per kilogram, less than half of September.

However, saury fishing will end almost by the end of this month, so the catch during the season could fall below 63,000 tonnes in 1969, the lowest since 1950.

With regard to saury, since the amount of resources in the North Pacific is decreasing, international catch regulations with participation of Japan, China, Taiwan, etc. will be introduced next year.
