Dubai Smart reported that it is implementing plans with the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to connect 200,000 users nationwide to digital identity systems by the end of this year, as part of its expansion at the federal level.

Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, Director General of Smart Dubai, said during a press conference held in Dubai yesterday to launch the `` Design of Cities 2019 '' training program in Tokyo. It is currently connected to 60 entities in the UAE, while the gradual linkage of Dubai Government employees is being studied.

Bin Bishr added that Dubai Smart is currently working with 14 banks in Dubai to implement the “Digital Identity”, especially following its approval by the Central Bank.

She pointed out that digital identity is one of the future initiatives that promote smart digital transformation at the level of the state, pointing out that there are some European countries that apply the system of digital identity, but explained that the state of excellence in its systems to contain «digital signature» and «digital torrent» For user data files.

In addition, Bin Bishr pointed out that the training program for `` Design of Cities 2019 '' in Tokyo during the period from 24 to 29 November next, aimed at reviewing the digital experience in Japan, and to explore the benefit of the deployment of smart digital services, and designed to suit the cultural habits of individuals, She pointed out that the program comes within the series of training programs organized by Dubai Smart Heroes of Happiness, in accordance with the objectives of «Happiness Agenda» which is working to implement.

She added that the program in Tokyo will include representatives from various government agencies in Dubai from the team of "Heroes of Happiness", some of whom participated in the previous two phases of the "design of cities" during the previous two years in Denmark and the United States.

Bin Bishr explained that the program focuses on three main axes, namely intelligence, human and design, where the human being is the most prominent axes of the program, in light of the contribution of the use of advanced technological solutions in the design of smart products and services to raise the level of happiness for residents and visitors to the Emirate of Dubai.

She pointed out that Dubai Smart has identified five main outputs of the program: understanding the applications of smart happiness, recognizing the importance of cultural diversity in design, learning the impact of designing city experiences and data-based services, as well as access to tools and methodologies that help to increase the adoption of services, and the implementation of projects built On data in Dubai.
