Siluanov noted that the main task is to make these changes affect business in Russia.
“The progress in this rating only indicates that our colleagues from the World Bank also see improvements, they also see changes for entrepreneurs,” the Russian minister emphasized.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Oreshkin in an interview with RT said that the growth of Russia's positions in the Doing Business rating, in particular, was influenced by the launch of a mechanism for transforming the business climate.
According to a new World Bank report, Russia took 28th place in the Doing Business 2020 ranking, having improved its index by three lines compared to October 2018.
