“We launched a special mechanism for transforming the business climate. The work of this mechanism also helps to remove administrative barriers and simplify procedures. This is reflected in various international ratings, one of which is Doing Business, ”explained Oreshkin.

According to the minister, Russia has already entered the top 30 countries of the rating and has managed to get ahead of states such as France and the Netherlands. At the same time, Oreshkin noted the rapid growth of competition in global business.

“We have already achieved good success, but we need to continue to work in this direction. I note that China in the ranking rose from 46th to 31st position, and this competition will continue. We must remain on the top of the list and be one of the best so that investors come and work here in Russia, ”Oreshkin emphasized.

In October 2018, it became known that Russia for the year climbed to 31st from 35th in the Doing Business ranking of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, which ranks countries according to the simplicity of business conditions.
