Medvedev recalled that a gas pipeline is currently being laid through Serbia from the border with Bulgaria to Hungary.

“Your country is strictly fulfilling its obligations,” the Russian Prime Minister emphasized.

He also expressed the hope that the construction of the gas pipeline will be completed by the beginning of 2020.

Earlier, the Serbian leader Alexander Vucic promised to complete the construction of part of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline in Serbia by the end of 2019.

In turn, Gazprom announced plans to launch both Turkish Stream lines for deliveries to Turkey and the EU via Bulgaria by the end of this year.
