Residents of the UAE can now shop electronically through international commercial platforms in the United States, purchase their goods and transport them to the UAE at AED 47 per kilogram, through the new Emirates Delivers Emirates Delivers platform.
After creating an account on the platform, it will provide a virtual address free of charge to customers, where they can buy their products through online stores in the United States, and ship to the address provided by the platform, and Emirates Delivers will automatically ship to the UAE.
The platform also allows customers to collect and store their purchases free of charge for up to 30 days.During this period, shoppers can order their purchases in one shipment, transfer them to Dubai with Emirates Air Cargo and deliver them to the UAE within 3 to 5 days Request shipping.
The platform expects that the volume of cargo to be transported during the current period will range from 1,000 to 5,000 daily.
Within three to four months, Emirates Delivers will announce other destinations where customers can purchase products from countries other than the United States. The platform also aims to make its services available to customers outside the UAE.
