The Tokyo foreign exchange market and the yen exchange rate on the 10th have seen modest price movements.
Market officials said, “Many investors are refraining from the US-China ministerial trade negotiations starting in Washington on the 10th and refraining from dealings to determine the outcome of the negotiations. “We were told that there was no progress in the negotiations at the secretary-level talks that took place, and in response to this, there was a move to sell dollars in the morning.”
