Du, a subsidiary of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), today announced the signing of an exclusive cooperation agreement with Saaad, a company specializing in the development and delivery of innovative, intelligent, integrated and sustainable solutions and services that contribute to the safety, security and happiness of stakeholders and the community.

Under the agreement, which was signed on the sidelines of GITEX Technology Week 2019, du will be present in the presence of Etihad Executive Vice President Farid Faraidooni and Saaed CEO Ibrahim Raml. With world-class mobile communication services and solutions, and advanced tablets to upgrade the technical capabilities of Sa'ad's vehicle fleet.

“This agreement is a testament to our ability to support efforts to achieve the vision of leading the UAE towards smarter and happier cities,” said Faraidooni. He added that «according to the new agreement will be provided (SAAD) a comprehensive portfolio of modern communication solutions and technologies, in addition to smart and sophisticated devices, to enhance its role in the planning of simple traffic accidents according to the highest standards of global traffic safety».

In addition, du has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADMC) to unite efforts between the two sides to conduct joint research and develop new use cases for 5G technologies, artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, within the framework of the Emirates Innovation Laboratory.
