The Insurance Authority revealed that it has canceled the license and registration of Amity Health Company for the management of health insurance claims in accordance with the Board of Directors decision No. 7 of 2015 and based on what was offered by the Legal Department of the Authority.
In a circular, EAD requested a copy of which was issued by Emirates Today to suspend any new contracts related to health insurance claims.
It said all concerned parties should implement this decision, each in its own jurisdiction and shall come into force from the date of its issuance yesterday, the seventh of October 2019.
