Withdrawal from US Delta Air Lines Narita to consolidate at Haneda Airport 15:36 on October 2

Delta Air Lines, a major American airline, has withdrawn from Narita Airport, which has been based in Japan, and will consolidate routes to Haneda Airport.

This was revealed by Delta's President Steve Sheer International Business Division at a business strategy briefing in Tokyo.

According to it, Delta will withdraw from Narita Airport, which has been a base in Japan, as Haneda Airport's slots expand in March next year.

In addition, the five routes connecting Narita Airport, including Seattle on the West Coast, Detroit in the Midwest, and Atlanta in the South, will be changed to Haneda Airport.

As a result, there are seven routes connecting Haneda Airport and the rest of the United States, including Los Angeles and Minneapolis in the Midwest.

Delta plans to establish a new dedicated lounge where high-speed Wi-Fi and showers can be used to capture business demand such as business trips by taking advantage of good access to the city center of Haneda Airport.

Steve Sheer, President of International Business, said, “Haneda Airport is attractive because of its proximity to the city center and is expected to be convenient. Japan continues to invest because it is an important market in Asia.”
