To motivate its employees to sometimes work in very hot weather, the company Everest Isolation distributes a premium of 460 euros gross per month.

Work in the heat, see the heat wave, can quickly turn to the ordeal, especially for professions particularly exposed. That's why an insulation company in Orange, Vaucluse, decided to innovate to motivate its employees and reward them for their efforts. In addition to refreshing vests and staggered schedules, Everest Isolation has introduced a "premium heat", which it distributes to each of its employees working under the roof.

The workers concerned receive 20 euros gross per day, or about 460 euros gross per month. Among them, Hugo Amouroux, employee of Everest Isolation for 5 years. At the microphone of Europe 1, he recognizes that he would not have worked so well without this additional motivation. "It's a big boost for the end of the month, to go on vacation," he says. "460 euros a month is a third of a pay, so I think it would motivate anyone."

"This bonus motivates us to go even further"

It must be said that the working conditions this summer are complicated. "Under the roof, by this heat, we reach 35-40 degrees, and in the attic, we reach 65-75 degrees", describes the employee, "there is not much air so it becomes difficult to to breathe.

And this bonus, in addition to representing an interesting financial gain, has improved the working atmosphere within his company, says Hugo. "This bonus motivates us to go further, to have even more desire to work, because we know that we are recognized within the company," he says. "The boss takes good care of us, so everyone works in good humor and efficiency."
