Toyota SUBARU further strengthens alliance relationship September 27, 16:26 on next-generation vehicle development
Due to the intensifying competition for technological development of next-generation vehicles such as autonomous driving, Toyota Motor Corporation and SUBARU decided to further strengthen their existing partnership.
Toyota will increase its stake in SUBARU from the current 16% to 20%, and SUBARRU will also acquire Toyota shares and share the shares.
On top of that, we will bring together each other's strengths, such as automatic driving and four-wheel drive, to jointly work on the next generation of vehicles.
