GITEX Shopper 2019, a consumer electronics retailer, is set to open at the Dubai World Trade Center today.

The exhibition, which is expected to reach more than 100,000 visitors, offers a wide variety of consumer electronic product offerings, as well as a wide range of new events, activities and exclusive deals over five days.

According to a statement issued yesterday that the activities of the current session of the exhibition is held in the halls of Sheikh Saeed 1, 2 and 3, and will continue until 28 September, to offer deals and offers on electronics, in addition to daily prizes, gifts and interactive experiences.

Trixie Luo Mermand, Senior Vice President, Exhibitions and Events Management at the Dubai World Trade Center, said that GITEX Shopper continues to offer the best deals and offers on the latest electronics and a wide range of product testing experiences before purchasing them in all sections of the exhibition.

She pointed out that smart home products will occupy a prominent place in this year's edition of the exhibition through a dedicated area, to enhance the experience of shoppers, and provide additional support for visitors to help them in the purchase process.

The new Shopper Smart Hub division, in partnership with Jumbo Electronics, will offer a variety of the latest smart home products, and will see the launch of new communication, security, automation and entertainment products from a range of home brands. The new area will see a number of technology experts, to advise visitors and help them choose the best products that meet their needs.

The Jumbo Anywhere team provides home services to conduct a free evaluation of smart home appliances, and then advise on product purchases and specialized installation services, to ensure that customers have the best smart home appliances.

Monster, which is participating for the first time in the show, will offer up to 20% discounts on its range of high-performance laptops and accessories designed specifically for gamers and business leaders who travel frequently.

The GITEX Shopper Trade Inn initiative is also expected to return to this year's edition.

According to the statement, GITEX Shopper is open daily from 11 am to 11 pm, while admission costs AED 20 and AED 10 for student groups of more than 50 students. Entry is free for children under the age of five.

Visitors spending more than AED 300 inside the exhibition will receive free six-hour parking at the Dubai World Trade Center.
