Meraas has announced a long-term partnership with Brookfield Asset Management (Brookfield) in its malls to enhance the brand's strength and boost the UAE's shopping sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, Brookfield will invest in Meraas assets in a five-billion-dirham partnership, through which Brookfield employs more than 120 years of experience and a strong reputation as one of the world's leading business center investors.
“We look forward to this partnership as the beginning of a fruitful relationship that will contribute to the realization of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to consolidate Dubai's position as a leading global investment destination,” said Abdullah Al Habbai, Chairman of Meraas Group.
