The commercial court of Evry will examine this Monday, September 23 bids for the redemption of Aigle Azur. The French airline, which serves mainly Algeria but also West Africa or Brazil, is in cessation of payment. She was placed in bankruptcy at the beginning of the month, and her flights were interrupted overnight.

The employees of Aigle Azur wait in anxiety to know by whom, and in what conditions, their company could be redeemed. After the surprise withdrawal of Air France and the Dubreuil group, last week, there are only four offers left on the table.

The first is that of two former Air France executives, Lionel Guérin and Philippe Micouleau, who plan to take over the "entire business" of Aigle Azur, and nearly 800 of the 1,150 employees, both in France. and in Algeria. The company Lu Azur by Gérard Houa, already a shareholder of Aigle Azur, proposes to take back 90% of the current fleet and a little over 80% of employees.

The Spanish low-cost company Vueling is also on the line, but it is essentially slots, slots Aigle Azur enjoys at Paris-Orly airport, which interests it. Finally, a fourth offer exists, about which nothing has filtered.

The Evry Commercial Court , which has to examine these proposals, has made safeguarding jobs a priority. Like the French State, which should financially support take-over bids, provided that the industrial project chosen is considered sufficiently sound.
