Like high school students, some companies are mobilizing this Friday for the climate. At Amazon, for example, 1,500 employees planned to demonstrate. Echo, Jeff Bezos is committed to achieving the goals set by the Paris agreements ten years earlier than expected.

The challenge is not going to be easy. Amazon produces 10% of France's annual CO2 emissions a year, according to the NGO Greenpeace. A heavy carbon footprint due to its deliveries. The American group delivers 10 billion parcels a year worldwide.

To reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, Amazon has decided to give itself the means. The American group will fulfill, ten years in advance, its climate commitments, within the framework of the Paris agreement.

To achieve this, Jeff Bezos promises the use of 100% renewable energy for 2030 and carbon neutrality for 2040. Finally, the boss of Amazon has announced the payment of 100 million dollars for the fight against deforestation and the order for 100,000 electric vans.

But for the employees of the group, it is not enough. They also ask Jeff Bezos to stop funding politicians who deny the climate crisis.
